Weight of Love Workshop with Libs Elliot

On Saturday, March 19, the MMQG had the pleasure of participating in a Libs Elliot workshop. Twenty-six of our members worked on the Weight of Love quilt designed by Libs.

The centre allowed us to use our "big room" and it worked out perfectly!

I think everyone had a great time and Libs was fabulous!

Lots of hard work, but also lots of fun socializing!

And although everyone was working from the same pattern, the fabric choices made a huge difference!  We ended up with a beautiful variety of colours.

And at the end of the day, we had a wall full of WIPs!

A big thank you to Libs Elliot, to Stephanie for organizing everything and to everyone who signed-up.  The workshop was a huge success!
